"Neurodiversity describes the idea that people experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways; there is no one "right" way of thinking, learning, and behaving, and differences are not viewed as deficits."

Those "who are gifted and have learning disabilities are those who possess an outstanding gift or talent and capable of high performance, but who also have a learning disability that makes some aspects of academic achievement difficult."

"US research suggests that 14% of children who are identified as being intellectually gifted may also have a learning disability. This is compared to about 4% of children in the general population.
